Join Us: Support the Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act

In the last 25 years, maternal mortality has drastically increased in the U.S. The situation is even more dire for Black mothers, who are 3-4 times more likely to die of childbirth related causes than their white counterparts. The Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act of 2021 is a series of bills that address this crisis, and offers funding and solutions to address the root causes of these issues.

As birth workers seeking equity and safety for the families we serve, we are asking our community and legislators to support MOMNIBUS, and H.R. 6164-Perinatal Workforce Act. 

Join us in advocating for the life-saving Momnibus Act, by calling on our policymakers to prioritize the health of our nation’s Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) citizens through the Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act of 2021.
