Build a Custom Registry
for Postpartum Care

Postpartum care is an investment in your growing family.

A postpartum registry allows your friends, family and community to join you in making that investment, through contributions to a fund that you can use to create a customized plan for doula and lactation care throughout the first year after birth.

At Bridgetown Baby, we are passionate about working together with you to plan and prepare for a supported postpartum experience, through care that allows you to rest, recover, and gain the skills you need to reach your parenting goals. Bridgetown Baby affiliated postpartum doulas and lactation consultants are highly trained, certified, and fully vaccinated.

“Having a registry with Bridgetown was a game changer. Our family and community contributed with ease and in a way that aligned with our values. It gave us peace of mind knowing that we would have postpartum support lined up for the arrival of our twins!”

~Kendra and Jacob

“Bridgetown Baby doulas have helped us feel calm and confident (not to mention much more rested!). For these reasons and many more, their support has been a true gift.

Pro tip: add doula hours to your registry! They are way more valuable than any piece of baby gear you’ll receive.”

~Emily A

“This extremely well-integrated team of pros had connections to help with every stumbling block we encountered. For us, the investment more than paid off in increased mental and marital health, and in starting this first year feeling resourced going forward.”

~Jeannie and Rebekah

They say that it takes a village to raise a child. But to me, it takes a village to support a mother. Thank you, Bridgetown, for making this journey into motherhood not just manageable, but truly beautiful.

Our postpartum doula care services are both well-rounded and infinitely customizable to fit your unique constellation of needs. We are committed to helping you create a plan that will provide the right amount of physical, emotional, and informational support so you can rest, heal and start your next chapter with strength and confidence.

  • A postpartum doula provides a bridge of support as you grow into your new life by providing expertise, resources, and an extra set of hands so you can rest, bond with your new baby, and adjust to changing family dynamics. All of Bridgetown Baby’s doulas hold professional certification and are passionate about providing the highest quality care for families while expanding their training, critically examining their biases, and actively creating social change

  • In our modern world, the structures that have traditionally recognized and held newly postpartum families are fractured. Distance from family and friends often means that our support systems are less accessible - at just the time we need them the most.

Your rest and recovery in the early months with your new baby lay the foundation for a lifetime of connection and wellness.

Bridgetown Baby seamlessly combines the expertise of postpartum doulas and lactation consultants to provide your family with wrap-around postpartum care - so you can ease into your new life with strength and confidence. We support families through the postpartum year

As your postpartum doulas, we can’t promise that you will sleep eight hours straight, but we can help you stay in bed and maximize your rest. Our nighttime doulas are often described as quiet, magical gnomes who lovingly care for your baby/babies while cleaning the kitchen, helping with laundry, and finishing with a hot, nutritious breakfast for you to wake up to - all while you sleep.

  • Days with a new baby mean lots of snuggles but can also feel endless and lonely. They can be especially hard if you have older children to care for, as well.
Daytime doula support from Bridgetown Baby can start as soon after your baby’s/babies’ arrival as you’d like, and can help nurture the whole family in a variety of ways.
At the beginning of each visit, your doula will help you prioritize 2-4 goals for the visit. Examples include: a shower, a nap, help with feeding, cooking a pot of soup for dinner, giving the baby a bath together, and/or completing a couple of loads of laundry. We can also accomplish a lesson on babywearing, provide you with time to return a few phone calls, and/or set you up to take a sitz bath. Additionally, we can spend one-on-one time with the partner/papa/grandparent on bottle-feeding, swaddling, or simply answering newborn questions.
Daytime visits are typically 5 hours in duration, scheduled between 9am and 5pm
