Raylea Case
Certified Postpartum Doula | she/her
“Raylea is knowledgeable, kind, receptive, and capable; I always felt calmed by the encouragement she provided at moments of overwhelm.”
—Natalie M., mom of 1
It was an undergraduate course on the Psychobiology of Women that sparked Raylea’s interest in working with women and children. When, a few years later, she stumbled across the doula job description, she knew that this was the perfect role for her.
Raylea is passionate about caring for the postpartum family, and feels she’s found a calling in helping families adapt to having a newborn in their home. She brings to her postpartum work compassion, knowledge, and experience gained as a birth and postpartum doula, nanny, lactation student, and health educator working with Native families.
As a doula, Raylea aspires to leave her clients feeling well supported, well educated, and starting their mornings fresh with a clean home and a happy baby. As a life-long learner, Raylea is constantly learning and expanding her skill sets; currently she is building her knowledge in sleep support for new families, and learning more about postpartum practices in her culture of origin and other Indigenous cultures.
When Raylea is not working with families, she can be found traveling, hiking, paddling, and curled up reading a good romance book with a delicious cup of herbal tea.
