Mindy knew from a very young age that she was meant to work with families and children. After many years as a nanny and preschool teacher, she got her MA in education to become an Early Intervention Specialist and began working with families of babies and toddlers experiencing a developmental delay or disability. While this has been fulfilling work, when she learned about postpartum doulas, she experienced what she describes as a “God-shot”: this was her next calling.

Being able to support families during their fourth trimester fills her bucket. She enjoys helping them navigate their new normal by providing newborn care education, feeding and sleep support and, most importantly, making sure the birthing parent gets plenty of rest, nourishment and care. Mindy is a calm, confident and curious presence and practices deep listening and loving coaching to parents and their support people.

In her free time, Mindy enjoys exploring the PNW with her partner in their camper van, reading in her hammock, trying to grow things in her garden, spending time with her adult daughter and snuggling her two doxies.
