Leonie Alaeddine
Certified Postpartum Doula
“Leonie is kind while remaining honest…[she] listens, without judgement[,] support[s] without piling on advice. One of Leonie’s greatest strengths…is being inquisitive in a way that makes you feel listened to and cared for but never judged..”
— Chrissy S.
Leonie loves supporting people during life’s big and sometimes messy transitions. After a rocky beginning to motherhood for herself, her commitment to supporting parents struggling with perinatal mood disorders solidified. Leonie has worked for over a decade in this arena. Whether a family is experiencing anxiety and fear, pure sweetness and bliss, or something in between, she believes strongly that growing families deserve encouragement and support as they find their own paths on the parenting journey.
As a doula, Leonie is genuinely enthusiastic and caring. Her commitment is to providing nurturing and nonjudgmental care to new and growing families, so that parents can find their own voice and inner compass as guides. She adores watching her clients discover the strengths and resources they didn’t know they had. It is super important to her that her clients feel respected, cared for and empowered during their postpartum journey. While not immersed in the wonderful world of little ones and their sweet families, Leonie loves parenting teenagers, hiking as much as she can, and laughing a lot with friends and family.
