Erica Cianni
Certified Postpartum Doula | she/her
“Erica brings laughter, kindness, professionalism, cooking, baby knowledge & gentle reassurances.”
—David K., father of 1
After 10 years of parenting her first two children, Erica thought she had it all figured out. Then she was blessed with twins! This was a game changer. She and her husband had to dig deep and be quick students as they learned to juggle this new, amazing, overwhelming, norm. Though family and friends all pitched in, their busy schedules meant inconsistent help. This experience set her on the path to becoming a postpartum doula.
Erica loves working with families of all shapes and sizes, and approaches each with her whole heart. She is passionate about sharing the knowledge she has acquired through the challenges and triumphs of caring for her own newborns and is honored to be a support and resource for new parents as they enter this wondrous new chapter in their lives. At the same time, Erica is aware that supportive presence will be different for different people. Known for her warmth, patience, and calm, positive energy, Erica strives to give parents the space and permission to express themselves as well as the physical and emotional relief they need to be able to enjoy their growing family. She is an active listener who focuses on the individual needs of each person and celebrates the growing confidence of the families she serves.
When she is not working you can find Erica cheering on her kiddos at baseball and soccer, laughing with her family, and spending time with her life-long friends.
