Pictures & Stories from the Family Feeding Nest at Pickathon 2023

Pickathon 2023 was a delight! The BB team once again built the Family Feeding Nest - a peaceful respite in the woods, amidst the amazing music-making - where families could nurse, pump or just relax with their babies and toddlers in the shade. Our Bridgetown Baby affiliated postpartum doulas and lactation consultants provided perspective on the parenting journey, safe milk storage throughout the day, and a chance for parents to rest while their babies and older kiddos were entertained.

We were thrilled to see repeat visitors, who made this their (feeding) home away from home during the festival. Click the pics below to enlarge.

As postpartum doulas and lactation consultants, we love to help families to explore and enjoy their world in a supported way, and we loved getting to meet and connect with so many parents and their littles.

We’re grateful for another year of giving families space to make memories and enjoy music in the magic of a Portland summer - we’re already looking forward to next year! See you there…
