On Being Brave

It’s been a hard year, a hard month; maybe, as you’re reading this, it’s been a hard day. So few things have gone the way we expected them to go. And now, as Election Day nears, we are breathing uncertainty with every news story, every poll result, every new revelation. Will the world ever be what we hope? Will the moral arc of the universe indeed bend toward justice? Each day, we remind ourselves that, whether we feel ready or not, we can take care, take action, and take strength from bravery.
