New Year, New Feeding Support at Bridgetown Baby

We are so very delighted to announce that we’ve officially joined forces with Miracle of Nurture, a comprehensive lactation agency owned by Portland mom and IBCLC Sarah Longwell.

Sarah started her journey as a lactation consultant after experiencing many feeding difficulties when her sons were born. Years later and ready to start working outside her home again, Sarah found herself unmotivated to rejoin the corporate world. Instead, she wanted to help new parents nurture their babies with confidence and joy. With this in mind, she began her journey toward her international certification as a lactation consultant.

"I first met Sarah when we were studying for our Lactation Boards together, and I was instantly wowed by her curiosity and intelligence,” says Bridgetown Baby founder Merriah. "She is truly one of the best lactation consultants in town and I am thrilled to pair our doula care with her lactation support. This is a dream come true!”

Incorporating Sarah and her team allows Bridgetown Baby to expand on our existing lactation and feeding services. Going forward, we're excited to be able to offer greater availability for in-home feeding care, as well as a feeding email “warmline” staffed every day of the week by Bridgetown Baby lactation consultants. Families and other care providers will be able to access our lactation team through this warmline for basic triage of feeding issues and help scheduling a visit with one of Bridgetown's IBCLCs when needed.
